CRUX Launches New Upscale Brand
Jun 21, 2015

CRUX Interfacing has launched a new upscale brand for CRUX car audio interfacing products called v.LOGiC.

v.LOGiC is offering interfaces that tie into the advanced electronics wiring of certain vehicles to allow video, backup cameras and more.

v.LOGiC works with cars using the LVDS (Low Voltage Distribution System Differential Signaling), which has been adopted in many 2015 vehicles by General Motors, Ford and European automakers including Mercedes-Benz and BMW, said CRUX’s Mike Beyersdoerfer.

The first v.LOGiC system is for select Mercedes vehicles and it allows drivers to use the factory “joy stick” control knob (Command knob) in the console to control video sources.

“We’re coming out with a line of innovative products that will interact with these cars like Mercedes and BMW that will enable you to control video on the console so it feels even more like a factory feature,” said Beyersdoerfer.

The interface line will let drivers add WiFi, AV inputs, video unlock as well as front and rear cameras to LVDS vehicles, using factory controls.

Similar versions of the product will be available for BMW and Audi in the near future.

The initial Mercedes v.LOGiC interface is the model VRFMB-78A at a suggested retail price of $649.

Wow, I am impressed! The original CD player in my 2000 Land Cruiser jammed, and once I decided to keep an otherwise great car, David helped me decide on the best replacement unit. I received clean professional installation of a player that fits my needs perfectly and I am very happy with ALL aspects of Car Tunes service, quality products and installation. Thank you.
